About the position

C1 is seeking a highly motivated Solutions Architect who will play a pivotal role in addressing business challenges for our customers through Outcome Based solutions. This position requires a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to delivering tailored solutions that meet the moderate to complex needs of our clients. The Solutions Architect will assess customer requirements and collaborate closely with the account team to ensure the accuracy of solution designs throughout the sales lifecycle. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of C1's market offerings and the ability to articulate and justify the costs associated with our solutions. As a subject matter expert, the Solutions Architect will focus on key areas such as Collaboration, Customer Experience, Security, Data Center, and Enterprise Networking. Responsibilities include analyzing customer needs, providing solution consulting, technical design, and sales support, as well as delivering live demonstrations to customers and sales teams. The Solutions Architect will also be responsible for maintaining technical competency and certifications in core product areas, preparing technical designs, and ensuring productive relationships with manufacturer technical peers. The ideal candidate will possess a broad knowledge of collaboration and customer experience technologies, particularly in Cisco Collaboration solutions, and will be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and effectively in a virtual office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert in key areas with a broader background in technical solutions.
  • Analyze customer needs, issues, and interests to formulate a strategy that will achieve business objectives.
  • Provide solution consulting, technical design, and sales support for account opportunities.
  • Deliver live demonstrations for customers and sales teams.
  • Develop and maintain technical competency and related certifications for all core products and solutions areas.
  • Prepare timely and accurate deliverables to customers including statements of work and product designs.
  • Participate in Discovery and Documentation of Business Requirements.
  • Coordinate with other technical resources for Bill of Materials, 3rd Party Quotes and SOW, Services, Infrastructure Requirements.
  • Own Statement of Work Language Gathering from other resources and Assembly of SOW.
  • Participate in Solution/Delivery Assurance and Services Handoff Meetings.
  • Prepare technical designs using manufacturer design tools for product area of focus.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years in Collaboration and Customer Experience.
  • Broad and general knowledge of Collaboration, Customer Experience and Infrastructure.
  • Strong expertise in Cisco Collaboration and other Collaboration/Customer Experience solutions.
  • Subject matter expertise related to SIP and Cloud based Services and architectures.
  • Good working knowledge of the collaboration industry and related protocols, including SIP, H.323, WebRTC, firewall traversals and VoIP.
  • Knowledge of ancillary technologies that help govern IP-based collaboration: firewalls, routers, MPLS networks, media relays, reverse proxies, etc.
  • Proficient at all Microsoft Office products; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint.
  • Excellent presentation skills and exceptional customer-facing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent relationship and collaboration skills.
  • Certifications or equivalent experience in area of focus.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction resulting in an accurate solution architecture for the client.
  • Able to manage multiple simultaneous work assignments.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels, including executive levels, in customers and partners.
