About the position

The Solutions Architect at Lifebit Biotech Ltd is a pivotal role that combines technical expertise with customer engagement to drive the adoption of Lifebit's innovative solutions in genomics and precision medicine. This position involves collaborating with sales, product management, and clients to provide tailored technical support and demonstrations, ensuring that Lifebit's offerings align with client needs and business goals. The role emphasizes thought leadership in bioinformatics and cloud infrastructure, contributing to the development of impactful solutions and enhancing customer success.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical support in bioinformatics, cloud infrastructure, and genomics to assist clients in overcoming challenges.
  • Collaborate with Product, Commercial, and Executive teams to enhance technical sales pitches and support client engagement.
  • Develop and execute technical demos and presentations showcasing Lifebit's platform capabilities.
  • Create and oversee solution proposals, RFP responses, and delivery plans to meet client requirements.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor, guiding clients on best practices and providing ongoing support throughout the sales and implementation lifecycle.
  • Capture insights from projects and client feedback to refine Lifebit's product offerings and facilitate knowledge-sharing.
  • Stay updated on the latest in bioinformatics, multi-omics, and cloud technologies to ensure Lifebit's solutions lead the industry.
  • Translate clients' project visions to the development team, ensuring solutions fit within existing offerings and address requirements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, fostering thought leadership in bioinformatics and cloud computing.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a technical, customer-facing role within sales, solutions, or product management, ideally in the healthcare or life sciences industry.
  • BSc in computer science, bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field (MSc/PhD preferred).
  • Intermediate knowledge of bioinformatics, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and genomics data management.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and technical writing skills.
  • Solid understanding of design principles, SDLC, and best practices for solution development.
  • Familiarity with healthcare and life sciences industry standards, especially around data security, compliance, and interoperability.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in a technical sales role or supporting a sales organization with solutions architecture.
  • Certifications in AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
  • Knowledge of R/Python or experience building pipelines in Nextflow.
  • Experience in data management, clinical research, or precision medicine solutions.
  • Strong understanding of US Healthcare ecosystems and experience with EHR or multi-omics data integration.
