About the position

Currently seeking a Solution Architect to bridge the gap between business problems and technology solutions. The Solutions Architect role is responsible for Application-level design, consulting and support of varied data, data analytics, content management and AI technology. This role will help provide guidance and support for both existing and new applications. A successful candidate will be self-motivated, communicate easily with persons at all levels and help set and guide strategic focus as a senior level role in the team reporting to the Manager, Application Development. Technologies are varied and continue to evolve in this space hence a key trait required is the ability to multi-task between varied initiatives while learning key facets of varied technologies. It also requires some production support of existing processes and technologies while offering the opportunity to enhance and move those technologies and processes further for the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the execution of platform governance for integrations platforms for technical change management with our product delivery and enablement teams.

  • Ensure the development of non-functional requirements with enabling team resources to ensure integrations platforms in use will meet business objectives and establish service level agreements.
  • Research product roadmaps for upcoming releases and features for the next 3-18 months.
  • Obtain and maintain relevant certifications as agreed upon with management.
  • Investigate and develop proof of concepts in partnership with product delivery and enablement teams on new approaches to leveraging technology.
  • Develop written and verbal communications effectively for delivery teams and leadership, messaging technical content in a manner relevant to business understanding.
  • Provide continuous education to delivery and enabling teams on platform and product roadmaps, product features, and best practices relative to the technologies.
  • Provide consultation services to our Product Managers and their leadership team on any platform or technology changes, technology roadmap development, and standards/best practices reviews.
  • Drive technology assessments of systems during merger, acquisition, or disposition activities.
