About the position
The Solution Consultant role within the ONESOURCE Solution Consulting Team focuses on engaging with current and prospective customers to demonstrate the value of ONESOURCE software in transforming client tax processes. This position aims to maximize sales and drive revenue growth for Thomson Reuters by understanding the complexities of Corporate Tax Departments and showcasing how ONESOURCE can address their specific challenges through effective presentations and demonstrations. The Solution Consultant will collaborate with key stakeholders to identify tax processes, data challenges, and technology needs, ultimately communicating how tax technology can optimize processes and reduce risks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct sales demonstrations for new and existing customers for all ONESOURCE products and services.
- Deliver and create leadership initiatives, user events, software releases, and enhancements.
- Professionally represent ONESOURCE to all levels of buyers and internal/external partners.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand tax processes and identify applicable ONESOURCE solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance (Master's or CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of corporate tax, accounting, or related experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. international tax laws and regulations.
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
- Experience working with tax or accounting software (ONESOURCE preferred).
- Proven competence with MS Office.
- Creative problem solver with flexibility.
- Technically savvy and eager to learn.
- Quick learner with the ability to work independently.
- Interest in tax accounting and systems.
Nice-to-haves
- Formal presentation experience.
- Consultative selling and negotiation skills.
- A thorough knowledge of tax software products and business accounting software.
