About the position

The role involves working on the account team supporting Comcast, NBC Universal, and Sky, focusing on delivering solution development and enhancing Cisco's relevance in the market. The position requires collaboration with internal specialists and product owners, engaging with customers to address their challenges and improve their agility through innovative technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a consultative technical seller and storyteller, partnering with Account Executives to drive business growth opportunities on the Comcast account.
  • Drive demand generation activities by understanding customer requirements and mapping technical solutions to meet their needs.
  • Present solutions and perform product demonstrations and Proof of Concept labs, both virtually and at customer locations.
  • Maintain competitive knowledge to strategically position Cisco's products and services.
  • Follow market transitions and industry trends to anticipate customer needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of validated experience with on-prem data center architecture, deployment, and/or operations as well as cloud solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Extensive skills and knowledge in networking protocols, network management, and automation technologies.
  • Pre-sales experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of competitive networking & compute products (HPE, Dell, Arista, etc.).
  • BS/BA or relevant experience.
  • Critical thinking to address customer concerns and support customer business growth.
  • Ability to manage numerous projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and maintain a customer focus mentality.
  • Cisco and non-Cisco Certifications a plus (CCIE, CCDE, CCNP, DevNet, AWS, Google, Terraform).
  • API and programmability knowledge is a plus.
