About the position

The Solutions Engineer - Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be a key member of the sales team, responsible for driving the adoption of AI solutions across various industries. This role involves identifying potential clients, understanding their specific needs, and providing tailored AI solutions that enhance business operations. The position requires a deep understanding of AI technologies and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the adoption of AI solutions across various industries.
  • Identify potential clients and understand their specific needs.
  • Provide tailored AI solutions that enhance business operations.
  • Build awareness and foster education about AI with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams, account teams, executives, and partners/customers.
  • Showcase AI solutions/products and promote their tactical and technical benefits.
  • Design, develop, and promote AI solutions while addressing challenges.
  • Travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of technical presales experience selling Compute, Storage, and Network solutions.
  • Proficiency in Python, MySQL, Github, Git, GO, ETL, OLAP, RDBMS, Scribus, AWS, Azure, Google, IBM Cloud, or other platforms and programming languages.
  • Experience with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Snowflake, BigQuery.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face.
  • Ability to provide detailed documentation of best practices for deployment around application acceleration, automation, and AI/ML solutions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Excellent presentation skills for delivering engaging workshops on AI topics.
  • AI experience with Nvidia, IBM, Microsoft, Dell, NetApp, HPE, or other AI vendors.
  • In-depth understanding of language models such as GPT-3, BERT, or similar architectures.
  • Expertise in training and fine-tuning LLMs using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face Transformers.
  • Experience in deploying LLM models in cloud environments and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
