About the position

The Solutions Engineer II at HashiCorp plays a critical role in supporting the Customer journey by acting as a trusted advisor and technical resource. This position involves collaborating with Sales Executives to create pipelines, achieve technical wins, and ensure customer success through effective communication and technical expertise. The Solutions Engineer will guide customers in realizing the value of HashiCorp solutions, driving adoption and expansion while maintaining a deep understanding of the product portfolio and competitive landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Trusted Advisor to aligned accounts, technical teams, and business stakeholders throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills to influence decisions through presentations, demos, and workshops.
  • Guide customers through a value realization journey aligned to their strategic priorities.
  • Demonstrate the business value of HashiCorp solutions in solving customer business problems.
  • Participate in customer QBRs, cadence calls, and advanced roadmap sessions to contribute to customer success.
  • Drive expansion within current product lines and promote the adoption of multi-product integrated solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Solutions Architecture, Customer Success, and Engineering.
  • Offer authoritative guidance on DevOps concepts and infrastructure architecture.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the HashiCorp portfolio and competitive landscape.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in a Technical Pre-Sales or Sales Engineering role, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in DevOps, IT operations, security, cloud, microservices, containers, and scheduling platforms.
  • Proven experience implementing software products in large enterprise companies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Experience working in a dynamic team environment focused on customer service.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of HashiCorp tools and experience with the portfolio.
  • Relevant technical certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, DevOps).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary with base pay range of $92,625—$112,500 USD and OTE pay range of $127,500—$150,000 USD.
