About the position

Arvato Systems North America, Inc. is seeking a Technical Implementation Specialist to manage sophisticated Media Asset Management integration projects and provide support for North American broadcast clients. This role involves working closely with customers during the requirements gathering and development phases, maintaining complex test and integration environments, and providing technical support during Go-Live operations. The position also includes creating system documentation and assisting in training customer staff, all within a dynamic international environment.

Responsibilities

• Technical implementation of Media Asset Management integration projects.
• Assist customers during requirements gathering and development.
• Configuration and maintenance of complex test and integration environments.
• Work closely with internal product, development, and quality assurance teams.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level technical support during Go-Live and operation.
• Maintenance of Media Asset Management systems, including problem analysis and software updates.
• Create and update system documentation.
• Assist in training of customer operational and technical staff.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project implementation and support processes.
• Cover support hotline as part of the global support team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable education/experience.
• 3 - 5 years of professional experience in Broadcast/Media IT, preferably with Media Asset Management software.
• Strong knowledge of media industry equipment, technologies, and work processes.
• Proficiency in scripting, markup, or programming languages (JavaScript, C#, SQL, XML/HTML).
• Experience with administration of Windows/Linux servers, Kubernetes, networks, and databases.
• Strong customer orientation and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with ElasticStack or OpenSearch, Git, Docker, Ansible, or Chef.
• Excellent written and verbal skills; German speaker a plus.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
