About the position

As a Solutions Engineer in the Premier Area at Kenna Security, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our clients by providing expert technical guidance and support. This position requires a deep understanding of our security solutions and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will be responsible for engaging with customers to understand their unique security challenges and requirements, and then tailoring our solutions to meet those needs. Your expertise will not only help in the implementation of our products but also in ensuring that clients derive maximum value from their investment in our technology. In this role, you will collaborate closely with sales teams to provide pre-sales technical support, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and responding to RFPs. You will also work with the engineering and product teams to relay customer feedback and contribute to product development initiatives. Your ability to build strong relationships with clients will be crucial, as you will serve as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, from initial engagement through to post-implementation support. Additionally, you will be expected to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously enhancing your knowledge to better serve our clients. Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to understand their security challenges and requirements.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support, including product demonstrations and technical presentations.
  • Respond to RFPs and assist in the proposal process.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to drive customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Work with engineering and product teams to relay customer feedback and contribute to product development.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance knowledge and service delivery.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a technical sales or solutions engineering role, preferably in the cybersecurity industry.
  • Strong understanding of security technologies and solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with customer engagement and relationship management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and across departments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with cloud security solutions.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
  • Knowledge of network security protocols and technologies.
