In this role, you will be a Trusted Advisor advocating for your customers, developing technical relationships, and showcasing Cisco's network product solutions. You will have access to a wide range of Cisco technologies and applications across various vertical markets.
Responsibilities
- Develop technical relationships with customers.
- Partner with Account Executives in a pre-sales technical role.
- Showcase network product solutions to customers.
- Explain features and benefits of products to customers.
- Design and configure products to meet specific customer needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of networking, telecommunications, or data center industry related experience.
- Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings.
- Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent.
- Strong background in network, collaboration, unified access, security, and data-center virtualization.
Nice-to-haves
- Pre-Sales experience.
- Solid understanding of Collaboration, Security, SDN, server and desktop virtualization.
- CCNP, CCIE, CCDP or similar vendor Certification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
