About the position

The Solutions Engineer at Company X is responsible for developing and nurturing technical relationships with strategic partners. This role requires a deep understanding of the analytics technology stack and the ability to articulate joint value propositions between Company X and its partners. The position is crucial for driving partnership growth and requires a resourceful, team-oriented individual who is willing to go above and beyond in their responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key sales/presales/post-sales personnel at Partners and Company X
  • Enable and train Partners Sales, Pre-sales, and post-sales on Company X and on joint use cases
  • Demo Company X and Partner platform and joint use cases to Partners and prospective customers
  • Meet assigned targets and strategic objectives
  • Collaborate with the Partner sales/presales to provide technical guidance on Company X and joint opportunities
  • Build technical assets such as white papers, blog posts, best practices documents, virtual hands-on labs, and quick starts to accelerate the adoption of joint solutions
  • Evangelize joint solutions and product integrations by speaking at conferences, webinars, and other marketing events

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years within a pre-sales/post-sales customer-facing role
  • Excellent communication skills to connect the dots for partners, prospects, and customers
  • Deep understanding of data engineering and integration concepts with hands-on experience
  • Knowledge of architecting solutions between Company X and Partner platforms within the tech ecosystem
  • Outstanding presentation skills to both technical and non-technical audiences
