About the position

As a Solutions Engineer at Luminator Technology Group, you will play a crucial role in connecting client needs with our technical solutions. This position involves working closely with both sales and engineering teams to provide expert support throughout the sales cycle, designing tailored solutions that address client requirements and ensure successful implementation. The role focuses on delivering seamless, impactful solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and drive the company's mission forward.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver product demonstrations, aligning technology specifics with customer needs.
  • Represent products at customer meetings, industry events, and conferences.
  • Respond to technical and functional aspects of RFIs/RFPs.
  • Translate customer feedback into product requirements for the development team.
  • Resolve technical issues, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to assess customer requirements and provide support.
  • Design system solutions and recommend deployment methodologies to meet client needs.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, supporting both live and web-based demonstrations.
  • Assist in installations and support field teams with troubleshooting.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer across departments to ensure implementation aligns with client expectations.
  • Collaborate with Field Support and Sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Technical Sales, or a similar role with proven success in customer-focused product demonstrations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
  • Expertise in engineering and technology application, including design techniques and technical planning.
  • Familiarity with principles of promoting and selling products/services.
  • Strong understanding of assessing and meeting customer needs.
  • Skilled in identifying, analyzing, and solving complex issues.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
