About the position

Xage is seeking a Solutions Engineer to lead technical engagements with customers and partners, focusing on designing effective solutions during the pre-sales cycle. This role is crucial for accelerating customer acquisition and achieving sales goals by creatively addressing customer use cases and requirements with a mix of internal and third-party tools. The Solutions Engineer will also represent Xage at industry events and conferences, showcasing the company's capabilities and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Work with customers and internal stakeholders to define technical solutions that meet customer use cases and requirements.
  • Create and present detailed technical and business proposals demonstrating how Xage addresses customer challenges.
  • Represent Xage at industry events and conferences, including occasional speaking engagements.
  • Identify gaps in product functionality and work with product management and engineering to address these gaps.
  • Conduct and ensure success of customer proof-of-concepts (POCs).

Requirements

  • Demonstrated hands-on technical knowledge and experience with industrial networking solutions, industrial control systems, or cybersecurity solutions.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with networking, industrial automation, or security solutions, with at least 5 years in field sales organizations.
  • Strong experience in technical pre-sales support of cybersecurity solutions for industrial operations/critical infrastructure.
  • Experience with product or service delivery with Identity and Access Management solutions.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts focused on access management in OT landscapes.

Nice-to-haves

  • GICSP, CISSP, or SANS certification preferred.
  • Prior experience with enterprise applications, security management, systems management, identity management, and/or policy management solutions preferred.
