About the position

The Solutions Engineer at Sign In Solutions (SIS) plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical capabilities and customer needs. This position involves working closely with prospective and existing customers to understand their business challenges and present tailored solutions. The Solutions Engineer will collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to effectively communicate the value of SIS's offerings and support the implementation of new customers. This hybrid role is based in Charlotte, NC, and emphasizes a customer-first approach, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with account executives throughout the sales cycle to simplify product evaluation.
  • Establish customer trust and confidence through business and technical discovery.
  • Understand customer business challenges and strategic goals to position SIS solutions effectively.
  • Develop and deliver customized presentations and demonstrations tailored to customer needs.
  • Inspire customers with a compelling narrative that highlights competitive advantages.
  • Address competitive threats during deal cycles and contribute to building competitive expertise.
  • Gather customer feedback to inform product and engineering roadmaps.
  • Engineer scalable infrastructure to facilitate effective demos.
  • Drive Proof of Concepts and Pilots to showcase the value of SIS.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a pre-sales technical consultant in a SaaS organization.
  • Ability to conduct exploratory conversations with prospective clients to identify business challenges.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Detail-oriented with a knack for organizing information clearly and effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
