Join us on our digital-first journey and experience the magic happening right now at Chubb. Our teams are innovating, iterating, and solving customer problems at a rapid pace. We are building upon our strength of delivering superior coverage and customer experience by leading the modernization of what insurance does and how we deliver it in a digital way. This means technology is infused into the business, and technology experts sit at the table with our insurance experts. This requires adopting an 'engineers of everything' mentality to deliver the world-class customer experience that sets Chubb apart from our competition. By being a part of the digital-first journey at Chubb, you will be a transformer at the forefront of driving change in a multidisciplinary squad. Current transformers describe their experience in our squads as invigorating, motivating, supportive, and valued. As part of Chubb's North America Solutions Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to work with modern technologies such as GenAI and Cloud, while reducing existing technical debt and delivering a positive impact to the business bottom line. As a Senior Solution Engineer at Chubb, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of technology solutions that meet the needs of the organization. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including business leaders, project managers, software engineers, and infrastructure teams, to define and deliver end-to-end solutions that are secure, scalable, resilient, and flexible. You will also provide guidance and support to development teams throughout the software development life cycle. In this role, you will set the technical direction on specific projects by delivering implementable architecture designs that account for technology modernization in a practical and iterative way. You will seek guidance or make balanced decisions that account for time-to-market, reduction of technical debt, supportability, and business needs. Collaborating with business and technical stakeholders, you will understand and document solution requirements and align business and technology roadmaps. You will work across numerous agile teams to provide end-to-end solutions across multiple business domains, ensuring architecture governance for solutions across the designated portfolio. Additionally, you will guide and mentor development teams on sound design and coding principles and best practices in areas such as UI/UX, integration, APIs and Micro Services, application and data security, DevSecOps, and Cloud environments. Your role will also involve developing and documenting secure, scalable, and resilient solution architecture designs aligned to Chubb's global standards and strategies in support of Chubb's digital transformation across the Personal Risk Services Insurance portfolio, meeting functional, performance, and usability requirements.
