About the position

Join the Systems, Application and Products (SAP) HR and Payroll Systems Team to perform SAP Payroll Systems Management activities in support of business requirements, improving or adding new functionality to the existing SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Human Capital Management (HCM) landscape as necessary. This role involves providing technical support for the SAP Payroll system by designing, configuring, and implementing functionality for SAP US Payroll processes. You will collaborate with the client/business to perform requirement gathering and documentation, developing design documents such as functional specifications related to SAP US Payroll. In this position, you will partner with technology teams to ensure that business requirements are developed, validated, and that system development goals are achieved. You will work closely with developers to design RICEF's (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms), perform unit and functional testing, and collaborate with business partners to reach consensus on testing. Additionally, you will project manage small and medium-sized projects to ensure they are successfully delivered on time and within budget. Regular system maintenance tasks will also be part of your responsibilities, including the implementation of support packs, enhancement packs, BSI, and payroll year-end activities. You will analyze and provide solutions for SAP PY development activities in support of business requests to improve or add functionality to the existing SAP PY landscape, as well as troubleshoot and oversee complex interfaces to downstream benefits systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform SAP Payroll Systems Management activities in support of business requirements.
• Provide technical support for the SAP Payroll system by designing, configuring, and implementing functionality for SAP US Payroll processes.
• Collaborate with the client/business to perform requirement gathering and documentation.
• Develop design documents such as functional specifications related to SAP US Payroll.
• Partner with technology teams to ensure business requirements are developed and validated.
• Work with developers to design RICEF's and perform unit and functional testing.
• Project manage small and medium-sized projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
• Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including implementation of support packs and payroll year-end activities.
• Analyze and provide solutions for SAP PY development activities to improve or add functionality.
• Troubleshoot and oversee complex interfaces to downstream benefits systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical/quantitative field.
• 8 years of experience with SAP Payroll, specifically US Payroll including taxation, earnings and deductions, BSI Tax Factory, W2, and Tax Reporter.
• Strong understanding of various benefits and experience with integrations with benefits vendors such as 401K and Deferred Comp.
• Excellent knowledge of SAP Payroll Schema, Rules, Custom PY Functions, and Features.
• In-depth experience of SAP Payroll based Interfaces and Reports.
• In-depth knowledge of Payroll processes related to SAP US Payroll.
• Minimum 8 years of experience leading engagements with business stakeholders and implementing technology solutions.
• Experience supporting two end-to-end implementations in SAP US Payroll.
• In-depth understanding of HR Payroll Execution Process, Time Infotypes, Benefits Infotypes, and Finance tables integration with SAP PY.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Time Management modules/Core HR and Talent Management.
• ABAPHR - experience in development in the US Payroll Module.
