About the position
As a Solutions Specialist for Total JCB, you will be responsible for driving sales and market share within your assigned territory. This role involves conducting customer equipment needs analysis, providing proposals, conducting equipment demos, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with the Total Industries team to ensure high levels of service excellence and maintain strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients.
- Achieve annual sales volumes and gross profit goals each year.
- Track and report sales using designated system.
- Generate leads for future sales.
- Sell the products and services within established Company prices and policies.
- Source and provide the best equipment solutions for new and existing customers.
- Educate clients and attend trade shows to conduct product demonstrations.
- Strive for professionalism, observing and complying with all Company regulations and policies.
- Represent the Company loyally, faithfully, with honesty and integrity.
- Maintain accurate and current customer profiles on all accounts.
- Keep the customer database current for each account in your territory.
Requirements
- 4-year degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 2+ years progressive experience working in an industrial equipment or related B2B product sales environment.
- 3-5 Years Cold-Calling/Prospecting Experience.
- 3-5 Years CRM Experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, vendors, and customers.
- Ability to speak, read and write English.
- Ability to work under pressure, shift priorities in a changing environment, be self-directed, and use good business judgment.
- Intermediate computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
- Clear DMV record and ability to drive.
- Ability to travel when required.
