About the position

The Solutions Strategist will be a key member of the ERP Sales team at Cargas, responsible for supporting pre-sales activities and consulting with prospects to understand their needs. This role involves demonstrating how Cargas' solutions can benefit businesses, preparing and delivering solution demos, and collaborating with various teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful sales outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-sales support for Sage Intacct and various related software products.
  • Consult with prospects/customers to understand their needs and recommend solutions.
  • Prepare, deliver, and follow up on solution demos, both independently and with the team.
  • Create and deliver statements of work based on customer requirements.
  • Define solution components, workflows, and integrations.
  • Use tools like Miro to visualize the technical stack and integrations.
  • Lead discussions to persuade prospects/customers of the benefits of our solutions.
  • Host internal and external sessions on product updates and new tools.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and Partner Management to stay updated on the Sage Intacct ecosystem and strategy.
  • Record product demo videos for marketing purposes.
  • Represent Cargas at industry events (some travel required).
  • Inform management about market changes affecting Sage Intacct products.
  • Communicate customer expectations and needs to the Professional Services team.
  • Work with the Sage Intacct Direct Sales team to close deals using Cargas resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, consulting, software sales, or a similar field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Ability to translate customer business processes and goals into technical sales requirements.
  • Self-directed follow-up (both internally and with external partners) to craft and propose software solutions.
  • Experience demonstrating software solutions in-person and virtually to business leaders.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience and/or certification in Sage Intacct.
  • Experience with HubSpot.
  • Fluency in Spanish.
