Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, pelvic, and vascular studies.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of ultrasound exams.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to interpret results and provide patient care.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding procedures and care.
Requirements
- Current ARDMS certification in abdomen and/or obstetrics/gynecology.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sonographer in a clinical setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel and adapt to different clinical environments.
