The Sourcing Analyst II position at a New Jersey-based pharmaceutical organization focuses on supporting procurement and strategic sourcing activities. Responsibilities

  • Analyze sourcing and procurement data to identify trends, savings opportunities, and supplier performance issues.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, market trends, and pricing benchmarks.
  • Support supplier selection, performance evaluations, and relationship management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of sourcing strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through negotiations, alternative sourcing options, and process improvements.
  • Assist in negotiating contracts with suppliers, including terms, pricing, and service levels.
  • Perform other duties, as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier negotiations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in sourcing tools and technologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with strategic sourcing or category management.
  • Knowledge of supply chain sustainability practices.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems - Oracle.
  • Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS).
