About The Position

The Sourcing Analyst at CDPHP is responsible for designing, developing, and presenting detailed analyses to support critical sourcing activities and special projects. This role involves creating tools and templates to streamline sourcing initiatives, managing the Vendor Management System (VMS), producing reports, and supporting procurement buying activities. The position is temporary and requires both remote work and on-site travel within New York State.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or four years equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 2 to 4 years' experience in reporting and analytics preferred.
• Experience leading projects preferred.
• Experience with relationship management preferred.
• Experience with database management preferred.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft applications (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills required, including query design and report design.
• Demonstrated skills with statistical, spreadsheet, presentation, and word processing software.
• Ability to leverage complex information into organized presentation formats.
• Strong planning and workflow management skills.
• Ability to manage and shift priorities to meet operational needs.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop detailed analyses to support sourcing activities.
• Create tools and templates to streamline sourcing initiatives.

• Consult and suggest solutions for sourcing processes.
• Implement reporting processes to meet the goals of the Sourcing Department.
