About the position

Spotter is seeking an experienced and strategic Sourcing Manager to oversee the procurement of trucks and related equipment. This remote position focuses on aligning purchasing strategies with the company's operational goals and budgetary constraints, ensuring effective supplier management and cost analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies for acquiring trucks and related equipment.
• Analyze market trends to identify cost-effective solutions that meet the company's needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with truck manufacturers, dealers, and suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to secure favorable terms and ensure reliable supply chains.
• Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about new truck models, technologies, and pricing trends.
• Monitor inventory levels of trucks and related equipment to ensure that procurement aligns with operational demands.
• Analyze total cost of ownership, including maintenance, fuel efficiency, and resale value, to make informed purchasing decisions.

Requirements
