About the position

The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will play a crucial role in the Talent Acquisition team, focusing on developing and implementing innovative sourcing strategies to meet the staffing needs of the organization. This position is a contract assignment lasting a minimum of 90 days, with the potential for extension. The Specialist will work closely with Talent Acquisition Specialists and leadership to understand the specific requirements for various roles and to create a proactive approach to sourcing candidates. This includes networking, cultivating a talent pipeline, and utilizing various sourcing techniques to attract diverse top talent. The role is based in Downers Grove, Illinois, with opportunities for remote work, and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week. The Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, assessing, and selecting qualified applicants for current and future staffing needs. This involves ensuring consistency in the employer brand to attract a diverse range of candidates. The position requires the development of functional sourcing processes that leverage social media, cold calling, industry events, boolean strings, job boards, and other techniques to maintain an active talent pipeline. The Specialist will proactively engage with potential candidates, creating compelling narratives about the opportunities available at Duly, and will manage the ICMS Candidate Relationship Management tool to nurture relationships with candidates. Collaboration is key in this role, as the Specialist will work closely with the talent acquisition team to ensure a seamless transition of sourced candidates into the recruitment process. Building relationships with diverse professional organizations and networks will be essential to attract and build talent pipelines. The Specialist will also utilize data and analytics to drive insights and recommendations, optimizing sourcing and engagement strategies. Staying informed about industry trends and market intelligence will be necessary to inform the talent acquisition strategy, particularly in collaboration with the clinical advancement and DEI team to enhance diversity in the candidate pipeline. Additionally, the Specialist will create and maintain comprehensive talent maps to identify potential candidates who align with the company's values and goals. They will serve as the primary contact for all contractual hiring with staffing agencies, ensuring effective onboarding of contract hires. Metrics and reporting will also be a part of the role, as the Specialist will leverage recruiting data to provide status updates and hiring metrics to Talent Acquisition leadership for monthly reporting purposes.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience sourcing passive talent.
  • Knowledge of the Chicago Healthcare Market.
  • Experience building pipelines and seeking new sourcing channels.
  • Strong sourcing skills utilizing online job boards, networking, research, and social media.
  • Knowledge of social media sourcing techniques.
