About the position

The Sourcing Specialist - Talent Acquisition role is a long-term contract position focused on proactively sourcing candidates for a global automotive manufacturer. This position involves utilizing various channels to build a strong pipeline of candidates, collaborating with recruiters, and enhancing the overall recruitment process. The role is primarily remote, with a requirement to engage with candidates and provide insights to improve sourcing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively source candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, social media, networking events, and industry-specific platforms.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential candidates for current and future needs.
  • Identify and engage with passive candidates, effectively presenting the company's value proposition.
  • Collaborate closely with recruiters to understand hiring needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Assist recruiters in identifying suitable candidates for phone screens and initial interviews.
  • Schedule and conduct phone screens to assess candidate qualifications, cultural fit, and interest in the role.
  • Provide recruiters with detailed candidate summaries and recommendations based on screening outcomes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates to ensure a positive experience.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates to keep them engaged and informed.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor hiring practices, and emerging sourcing tools and technologies.
  • Provide insights to the recruitment team on sourcing challenges, market conditions, and opportunities to enhance diversity in hiring efforts.
  • Track and manage candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Generate reports on sourcing activities, candidate pipelines, and diversity metrics.
  • Leverage your expertise in sourcing to develop and share best practices with the broader recruiting team.
  • Conduct training sessions or knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance the team's understanding of sourcing strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a related role.
  • Ability to leverage data and market insights to educate hiring managers, fluent in talent market data.
  • Strong knowledge of LinkedIn and other professional networking platforms.
