Heritage Companies is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Hotel Chaco in Albuquerque, NM. This full-time position offers a starting salary of $60K, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package. The Executive Sous Chef will work closely under the direction of the Executive Chef, preparing signature dishes and ensuring that food is delivered to guests in a high-quality and timely manner. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of our culinary offerings and creating unforgettable dining experiences for our guests. In this position, the Executive Sous Chef will take on various responsibilities, including filling in for the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation and culinary activities. This includes estimating food requirements and managing food and labor costs. The Executive Sous Chef will also be responsible for supervising kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers, ensuring that all team members are effectively trained and performing their duties to the best of their abilities. The ideal candidate will maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests, communicate daily with kitchen leadership regarding job assignments, and uphold the company's food safety and sanitation standards. The Executive Sous Chef will also assist in menu design and preparation, produce high-quality plates, and ensure that the kitchen operates efficiently.
