About the position

The Southeast Regional Sales Manager at Premium Port Wines, Inc. is responsible for driving sales and managing distributor relationships across Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina, with a primary focus on Florida. This role involves presenting to buyers, managing pricing and programming, and maintaining a strong market presence. The position requires a blend of sales expertise in the fine wine trade and the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders in the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Drive brand sales in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.
  • Manage pricing and programming for all sales channels.
  • Build and maintain distributor relationships with management and sales teams.
  • Present to buyers at regional chains, key independent retail, and high-visibility restaurants.
  • Maintain a strong presence in the marketplace.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role in the fine wine trade.
  • Previous selling and distributor experience.
  • Ability to lift a case of wine (45 lbs).
  • Valid driver's license and current passport.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice-to-haves

  • Fine wine knowledge, particularly in Port and Madeira basics.
  • Inventory management and forecasting skills.
  • Experience in building containers.
  • Salesforce and VIP (iDIG) skills.
  • Language skills in Spanish and Portuguese.
