About the position

This position offers an opportunity to join a growing group of neurologists in southwest Houston, focusing on neurophysiology and general neurology. The practice is well-supported with dedicated medical assistants for each neurologist and access to EMG and EEG technology. The hospital features a comprehensive Neuroscience and Spine center, collaborating with various specialists to provide integrated care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide neurophysiology and general neurology services to patients.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, and pain management providers.
  • Conduct EMG and EEG tests as part of patient evaluations.
  • Manage patient care and follow-up in a busy clinical setting.
  • Participate in the growth and development of the neurology practice.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree with a specialization in neurology.
  • Board certification in neurology or eligibility for certification.
  • Experience in neurophysiology is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Fellowship training in neurophysiology or related subspecialty.
