About the position
The Souvenir Photographer Sales Associate at the George W. Bush Presidential Museum is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while capturing memorable photo experiences for visitors. This part-time role involves engaging with guests, operating photography equipment, and ensuring smooth photo operations in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs to take home
- Provide excellent guest service throughout the experience
- Participate as a team member, ensuring photo operations run smoothly and effectively
- Engage in a friendly manner with all guests, staff, and coworkers
- Operate POS system and photography equipment
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Perform all other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Team player who can work independently
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to work during peak retail hours, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to process sales transactions and comfortable with cash handling
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time
Nice-to-haves
- Previous retail, service industry, or cashier experience preferred but not required
