About the position
The Souvenir Photographer Sales Associate at Photogenic, Inc. is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while creating memorable photo experiences for customers at the USS Midway and Whale Watch Cruises. This part-time role involves engaging with guests, operating photography equipment, and ensuring smooth photo operations in a dynamic outdoor environment.
Responsibilities
- Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs to take home.
- Provide excellent guest service throughout the experience.
- Participate as a team member, ensuring photo operations run smoothly and effectively.
- Engage in a friendly manner with all guests, staff, and coworkers.
- Operate POS system and photography equipment.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Perform all other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Team player who can work independently.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work during peak retail hours, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to process sales transactions and comfortable with cash handling.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Comfortable working in an outdoor environment in natural weather conditions.
- At least 16 years of age.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous retail, service industry, or cashier experience preferred but not required.
