About the position

The Souvenir Retail Photographer Sales Associate at San Diego Safari Park is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while capturing memorable moments through photography. This part-time role involves engaging with guests, operating photography equipment, and ensuring smooth photo operations in a dynamic outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

• Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs to take home.
• Provide excellent guest service throughout the experience.
• Participate as a team member, ensuring photo operations run smoothly and effectively.
• Engage in a friendly manner with all guests, staff, and coworkers.
• Operate POS system and photography equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Perform all other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Team player who can work independently.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work during peak retail hours, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to process sales transactions and comfortable with cash handling.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Comfortable working in an outdoor environment in natural weather conditions.
• At least 16 years of age.
