About the position
The Spa Esthetician at Faro Blanco Resort & Yacht Club is responsible for providing exceptional skin care and spa services to guests, ensuring a relaxing and memorable experience. This role requires adherence to brand standards and policies while performing various treatments and maintaining a clean and professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide skin care services and treatments to guests.
- Perform massage and body services according to established guidelines.
- Assess contraindications of guests that may prevent service from taking place.
- Maintain cleanliness and disinfection of all equipment.
- Demonstrate complete knowledge of all spa services offered.
- Answer guests' questions professionally and knowledgeably.
- Recommend products for home use and suggest additional treatments.
- Create and maintain client cards and treatment notes as needed.
- Inform management about product needs and other relevant information.
- Ensure work areas are clean and organized according to procedures.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Valid state license in massage therapy or other credentials required by the state.
- Minimum one year of customer service experience; previous spa experience preferred.
- Knowledge of professional spa services and treatments is a plus.
- Previous massage and body work experience is required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and co-workers.
- Must be able to build rapport with guests.
- Ability to explain various treatments/services to guests.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills and work ethic.
- Efficient, well organized, and able to handle multiple duties simultaneously.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational personality.
- Professional manner, discretion, and appearance.
- Strong team player.
