About the position

The Spa Manager at Cherry Creek Massage Envy is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the spa, ensuring exceptional service delivery to members and guests. This role involves achieving sales and profitability goals, managing staff performance, and maintaining a professional environment that reflects the brand's core values. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with a strong customer service orientation, capable of motivating and inspiring a team while driving revenue and maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and managing daily operations of the location, ensuring excellent service delivery to all members and guests.
  • Achieving membership and retail sales and profitability goals, partnering with the franchise owner to monitor progress against goals.
  • Managing staff performance through training, monitoring, and coaching sales associates.
  • Establishing and monitoring staff work schedules and managing human resource functions, including interviewing, hiring, and performance evaluation.
  • Managing key business operations including inventory, bank deposits, and marketing.
  • Maintaining a professional, clean, and safe environment for employees, members, and guests.
  • Developing a culture that reflects the Massage Envy brand's core values of optimism, gratitude, excellence, consistency, and empathy.
  • Leading employee engagement through active participation in franchise-wide social media campaigns and operations competitions.

Requirements

  • Previous management experience in a service or retail industry.
  • Strong customer service orientation and effective communication skills with members, guests, and staff.
  • Excellent leadership and influencer skills to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Ability to meet performance-based culture expectations and drive revenue.
  • Proficiency in establishing membership and retail sales goals and interpreting sales reports.
  • Knowledge of labor and employment laws applicable to the franchised location.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to set goals and delegate responsibilities.
