About the position

As a Spa Sales Associate at Hand & Stone, you will play a vital role in delivering a world-class experience to our valued members and guests. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that every client interaction, whether face-to-face or over the phone, is exceptional. You will be the first point of contact for clients entering our spa, and your warm welcome and professional demeanor will set the tone for their visit. Your role will involve educating clients about our services and products, guiding them to make informed choices that enhance their experience, and promoting the health and wellness benefits of massage therapy and skincare. In addition to providing outstanding customer service, you will be responsible for booking appointments, selling memberships, gift cards, and service upgrades. You will also maintain proper filing procedures and ensure that the work environment is clean and professional. As a Sales Associate, you will need to communicate effectively with both clients and the Service Provider team to maximize appointment bookings and ensure a seamless experience for our guests. Your positive and energetic attitude will contribute to a collaborative team environment, and you will be expected to perform various other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the spa. Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to members/guests
  • Welcome and greet members/guests upon arrival
  • Answer phones, book appointments, sell memberships, gift cards and upgrades
  • Follow proper filing procedures/file maintenance
  • Promote health/wellness benefits of massage therapy
  • Maintain a professional and clean work environment & appearance
  • Perform various other duties as assigned
  • Communicate sales promotions and service options with clients
  • Schedule/Confirm appointments and balance the daily appointment book
  • Passionately promote products and services with effective, clear communication
  • Computer data entry

Requirements

  • Proven passion for communicating with people and providing consistent, exceptional service
  • Capability to work flexible hours including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A fast learner with a positive attitude
  • Computer proficiency; knowledge of Millennium booking/POS systems is a plus
  • A strong team player with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
  • Critical thinking skills, including customer conflict resolution
  • Have reliable transportation to/from work
