About the position

The Spa Associate at True REST Float Spa plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences. This part-time position involves welcoming guests, selling memberships and services, and educating clients about float therapy. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service and sales skills, contributing to a positive team environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and escort them to their pod suite.
• Sell memberships and other services.
• Educate clients on the use of the float pods and the physical and mental benefits of float therapy.
• Perform housekeeping duties including pod suite turnover, laundry maintenance, and shower and bathroom maintenance.
• Maintain full working knowledge of all spa specials, services, memberships, and packages to effectively communicate and sell to customers.
• Assist with scheduling, taking payments, answering phone calls and emails, filing, and other clerical duties.
• Assist with promotional programs and special events as necessary.
• Contribute to the team environment and complete other related tasks as needed and requested by the Spa Manager.

Requirements

• Must be customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, and spa management.
• Previous experience with spa scheduling software preferred but not required.
• Desired candidate must be outgoing, positive, and professional.
• Desired candidate should have a genuine interest in health and wellness.
• Availability for some evening work and one weekend shift.
