The Spa & Salon Front Desk Receptionist at Sonya Dakar Skin Clinic is a part-time role focused on providing exceptional customer service in a busy day and medical spa environment. The position involves managing client schedules, processing payments, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for clients during their visits. The receptionist will also assist with various administrative tasks and maintain a clean and professional spa environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client schedules and appointments.
  • Provide professional, engaging, and friendly service to clients.
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere during client check-in and check-out.
  • Answer telephones and consult callers about their specific needs.
  • Offer multiple treatment options and upsell services.
  • Process client payments and manage cash drawer balances at shift end.
  • Help maintain a clean and professional spa environment.
  • Assist with washing and folding spa linens.
  • Perform duties as assigned, including those on opening and closing checklists.
  • Respond to web, email, and phone inquiries.
  • Process web and phone orders.
  • Work with salon software to manage client appointments.

Requirements

  • Experience as a receptionist or in a spa environment.
  • Basic math skills for handling payments and cash.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to upsell products and services.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
