About the position

The Space Planner/Interior Designer at Versar, Inc. serves as the Operations Interior Design Project Officer, responsible for managing floor plans, CAD operations, and space management software for the Administrative Assistant to the Secretary of the Air Force. This role involves investigating requirements, estimating costs for furniture and construction projects, and providing design advice to Air Force customers, ensuring quality service and compliance with operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and determine requirements for furniture, construction, or interior design projects.
• Estimate costs for changes to Headquarters Air Force space.
• Provide advice and assistance to customers on furniture, construction, and design.
• Work independently with Air Force customers to meet their requirements.
• Manage floor plan CAD operations and space management software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least three years of relevant experience in facility space allocation/management and interior design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
• Must possess a Secret clearance.
• Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) operations, preferably with the Air Force.
