About the position

The Senior Principal Engineer Systems position at Northrop Grumman involves updating and implementing new RADAR data processing algorithms into the existing MATLAB model known as "System Bench". Responsibilities

• Update and implement new RADAR data processing algorithms into the existing MATLAB model.
• Support development, production, and on-orbit Space Radar Payload programs.
• Collaborate with a team of System Bench engineers to enhance radar processing capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Mathematics with 8 years of related experience or 6 years with a Master's Degree.
• Experience with modeling RADAR data processing in MATLAB.
• Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret clearance at time of application.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree including electives in radar data processing.
• Experience in radar data processing.
• Experience integrating and testing of RADAR modes.
• Greater programming experience/expertise in MATLAB, C/C++, and Python.
• Experience with development and operational support of space payloads.
