About the position
The Electrical Spacecraft Technician Senior role at ASRC Federal System Solutions involves supporting the production and development of space systems through various electronic and electro-mechanical assembly tasks. This position requires a strong electrical background and the ability to work from schematics and blueprints to construct and test components, ensuring high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of production units and prototype requirements.
- Work from schematics, blueprints, and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components.
- Use standard electronic assembly tools and materials for assembly tasks.
- May perform modifications, rework, and quality testing of components.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience/combined education with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree.
- Demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks.
- 5 years or more of experience in a related field.
- Must be a US Citizen.
