About the position

The Information Technology Admin/Tech III position at Sigma Defense is a full-time role focused on managing and enhancing the organization's IT compliance posture, particularly in relation to CMMC and ISO standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT systems and compliance frameworks, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements while providing exceptional support to both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage IT systems to align with CMMC and ISO standards.
  • Conduct audits, risk assessments, and gap analyses to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement policies and practices that strengthen compliance efforts.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to maintain a secure environment.
  • Design and enforce cybersecurity measures, including regular security updates and incident response planning.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for compliance-related technical issues.
  • Monitor IT systems for compliance-related issues, including security vulnerabilities.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation for compliance reports and audits.
  • Partner with IT, legal, and operations teams to support compliance-focused initiatives.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and compliance trends.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in IT compliance and systems management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Cybersecurity from an accredited institution.
  • Familiarity with CMMC and ISO 27001 compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift about 50lbs.

Nice-to-haves

  • VCP, Sec+, Net+, CISSP certifications are preferred.
  • Geographic proximity to a Sigma site is preferred.
