About the position

The Press Operator position involves operating machinery to produce and assemble products while ensuring quality standards are met. This role offers a growth opportunity as it transitions from a contract to a direct position based on performance and attendance after 90 days. The position is full-time with a set schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and includes potential overtime and attendance bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates and inspects finished products to verify conformance to customer specifications.
  • Fulfills order requirements.
  • Reviews Operator Display Board for work instructions and Quality Alerts prior to running production.
  • Produces and assembles sub-assemblies for production lines.
  • Connects various parts and switches.
  • Loads conveyors, stocks parts, and handles material as required.
  • Completes all required testing, paperwork, quality records, documents, etc.
  • Corrects application of all internal and external labels when required.
  • Participates in team problem-solving activities.
  • Follows all internal and OSHA required safety procedures.
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience as an Injection Molding Operator (Preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Ability to quickly develop a comprehensive knowledge of products
  • Drive to assist team members with other tasks as required.
