About the position

The Assistant Director of Outpatient Services at 4C Health is responsible for supervising outpatient departments across multiple counties, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive and timely care. This role involves working closely with therapists and medication prescribers to address client needs, uphold compliance with the Clubhouse model, and coordinate treatment efforts with external stakeholders. The position emphasizes leadership, clinical supervision, and the development of support systems for clients, all while fostering a collaborative and caring environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in group clinical supervisions.
  • Complete treatment plans that reflect client needs and discharge criteria.
  • Assist clients in developing natural support systems to enhance independence and recovery.
  • Document client progress accurately and timely.
  • Supervise clinicians in documentation to ensure medical necessity and adequate service reflection.
  • Provide individual, group, conjoint, and family therapy based on client needs.
  • Directly supervise designated staff members and address operational concerns.
  • Approve time cards and expense sheets, co-sign notes, and monitor service goals.
  • Act as back-up for reviewing assessments for the Acute Care Unit.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; degree in social services, psychology, or related mental health field preferred.
  • At least six college credit hours in abnormal psychology or related classes preferred.
  • Five years of work experience in mental health or social services if degree is in a different field.
  • Previous experience with case management, skill building, and group therapy preferred.
  • Experience working with adults in intensive services with severe mental health needs preferred.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish or Burmese for wage premiums.
  • Experience in a group home setting.
