About the position

The Energy Efficiency Program is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to support office operations and assist with various administrative tasks. The role involves maintaining a positive work environment, processing paperwork, managing appointments, and contributing to office maintenance. The ideal candidate will be reliable, energetic, and possess strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive attitude and an upbeat personality.
  • Assist office staff with processing paperwork for installations.
  • Assist with confirming appointments on the auditors calendar.
  • Assist with typical office workflow, including copies, data entry, and filings.
  • Assist with basic office maintenance and upkeep.
  • Learn and assist with uploading documents and applications to the NYSERDA portal.
  • Assist in planning office parties.
  • Occasionally attend trade shows and pertinent 'green' events.

Requirements

  • Data entry skills with above-average Words-per-Minute.
  • Experience in a business environment is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Timely, responsible, and punctual.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States as a Permanent Resident or U.S. Citizen.

Nice-to-haves

  • Energy Modeling experience is a plus but not a requirement.
