About the position

The Admissions Representative is a sales-driven role focused on attracting potential students to the school by conducting interviews and providing information about program offerings and qualifications. This position involves managing the admissions process from prospecting to enrollment, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining communication with prospective students.

Responsibilities

  • Interview potential students and inform them of the school's program offerings, qualifications, and services.
  • Set appointments utilizing callbacks, referrals, and follow-up to mailings.
  • Facilitate the admissions process including prospecting, interviewing, enrollment, and start.
  • Enroll qualified applicants and maintain accurate files in compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintain weekly personal contact with students prior to class start.
  • Conduct follow-up with future students by checking their enrollment status.

Requirements

  • 0-2+ years of admissions or related experience preferred.
  • Experience in sales is required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under limited direction while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and follow-through skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in recruiting is preferred.
