About the position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various alarm systems, including intrusion detection systems (IDS). The Alarm Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain alarm systems, including IDS systems.
• Utilize remote access software to diagnose and resolve system problems.
• Perform routine maintenance and service on installed systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of installations and service calls.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as an Alarm Technician (Installation and Service)
• Strong technical knowledge related to alarm systems (old and new)
• Ability to detect issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Familiarity with various types of Alarm Systems
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
