About the position

The App Store Analytics QA Manager will oversee the quality assurance processes for the Analytics Data Quality team within Apple Services Engineering. This role focuses on ensuring high-quality analytics products and services, particularly for App Store Analytics, by leading a team responsible for client metrics instrumentation, data ingestion, processing, and reporting. The position requires collaboration with various engineering and data science teams to deliver exceptional analytics data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of quality engineers to ensure high-quality releases of analytics data pipelines.
• Oversee the quality assurance processes for analytics products and services.
• Collaborate with ASE Analytics engineering, Client engineering, Project managers, and Data science teams.
• Design and develop robust and scalable test automation frameworks.
• Plan, execute, and triage test automation for projects across multiple platforms.

Requirements

• Current experience leading a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) or Software Development team.
• Experience leading projects and processes cross-functionally.
• Strong leadership capabilities and a track record of developing high-performing teams.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and influencing skills.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java and Python, as well as SQL.
• Experience with Big Data ecosystems including Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and Cassandra.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Five years of experience managing a quality engineering team.
• Experience testing on mobile platforms and web-based analytics dashboards.
