About the position

The Assembler position at Aerotek involves working in a clean room environment, primarily focused on assembling circuit boards and various hardware components. The role requires standing for extended periods and performing tasks such as placing small components by hand, operating SMT machines, and soldering. This is a temporary position with immediate start availability, offering shifts during the day and night, and may require overtime and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Standing 100% of the time in front of a pneumatic powered assembly/shuttle line.
• Reading job sheets to understand part placement requirements.
• Placing dime and quarter-sized pieces from bins into circuit boards by hand.
• Operating SMT machines or running testing machines on finished boards.
• Performing soldering work throughout the shift.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Experience with assembly tasks, particularly in a clean room environment.
• Basic understanding of circuit board assembly and components.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience operating SMT machines.
• Familiarity with soldering techniques.
