About the position

The Assistant Community Director plays a crucial role in supporting the Community Director in managing all aspects of community operations. This position involves maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and contributing to marketing and leasing efforts. The Assistant Community Director is expected to uphold the quality standards of the community while providing exceptional customer service to residents and managing various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Director in all phases of community operations.
• Maintain bookkeeping for the community and ensure timely filing of legal proceedings.
• Support property objectives such as marketing, leasing, rent collection, budgeting, and administration.
• Represent Woodward Management Partners professionally at all times.
• Ensure compliance with Federal Fair Housing laws and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
• Operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Communicate issues impacting property operations to the Community Director.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve resident complaints.
• Schedule maintenance with contractors for vacant apartments and compile billing invoices.
• Play an active role in the renewal process and prepare renewal leases.
• Maintain knowledge of community policies, market conditions, and competitor information.
• Assist Leasing Specialist with showing and leasing apartments, and performing move-ins and move-outs.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience with Yardi (preferred).
• Valid Driver's License (preferred).
