The Assistant Materials Planner at Kraft Heinz Company plays a crucial role in supporting production operations at the sauces processing facility in Fremont, OH. Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counting activities
• Order materials for the Plant
• Maintain inventory levels
• Connect with vendors and transportation companies
• Provide outstanding service by leading and resolving supplier issues
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure supplies or deliveries can support schedule, and adjust schedules due to Material Planning issues
• Assure timely manufacture of all finished products through the scheduling of production so finished product is available to shop as needed
• Update and communicate set-up changes
• Participate in production planning
• Ensure compliance with KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management Systems) standards
• Participate in internal audit programs (GMP, BOS/Safety, QRMP, KHMS)
• Investigate initial root cause of material issues
• Attend daily directional meetings
• Drive continuous improvement projects
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
• Excellent math and analytical skills
• Good communication and time management skills
• Prior Supply Chain experience is preferred
