About The Position

The Associate Accounting Administrator is responsible for managing daily inventory tasks, including entering issue sheets into the STORES system, receiving shipments, and conducting inventory audits. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently while supporting the logistics and inventory management processes within the organization.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of office experience required.
  • Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Tyson Business Computer System.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good attendance and safety record; ability to complete Tyson paperwork; detail-oriented; ability to work with little supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift experience (training will be provided).
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Chrome, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Enter daily issue sheets into the STORES system and make inventory adjustments as needed.
  • Check in and receive daily shipments from FedEx, UPS, and various vendors.
  • Lift up to 40lbs and navigate stairs as required.
  • Work with COUPA catalogs for ordering and receiving.
  • Run reports in STORES, MRS, and SAP for budgets and fill in budget sheets in Excel.
  • Send out transfers or repairs with inbound logistics or FedEx account.
  • Provide backup for ordering chemicals and issuing weekly.
  • Work on discrepancy reports and enter CIR's as directed.
  • Create forklift cards for authorized team members and answer phone calls.
  • Set up part numbers and new vendors in STORES/SAP and file paperwork daily.
  • Complete a full inventory audit monthly and replace labels as needed.
  • Create bins for new items and ensure proper labeling on bins.
  • Fill personal issues for supervisors twice a week and enter into STORES.
  • Distribute new equipment to new hires as needed and update weekly personal issue tracking for submission to the Superintendent.
