About the position

The Associate Director of Community Corrections is responsible for overseeing the operations of one or more locations and services, ensuring that organizational goals and client outcomes are met. This role involves directing, planning, and coordinating services while managing budgets and fostering a positive work environment. The position requires collaboration with external stakeholders and a focus on continuous quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Direct, plan, coordinate, and develop services in one or more locations and areas of specialty.
• Oversee the delivery of quality services in accordance with the agency's mission and goals.
• Minimize financial and other risks with a focus on continuous quality improvement.
• Work with the Director to develop and manage a budget and operating plan.
• Solicit additional funding for services when opportunities exist.
• Foster teamwork and a positive work environment; anticipate and respond to staffing needs.
• Oversee Clinical and/or Operational Supervisors by providing ongoing direction, input, feedback, and training opportunities.
• Ensure all staff receive training and coaching for continuous professional development.
• Conduct or oversee the evaluation and development process in a fair, timely, and consistent manner.
• Communicate and collaborate with external stakeholders and act as a liaison with the community.
• Ensure service integration by collaborating with peers and agency leadership.
• Ensure understanding of funding agreements and contracts; respond to external funders in accordance with requirements.
• Participate in the hiring process of all reporting staff.

Requirements

• Masters degree in Behavioral/Social Sciences, Business/Public Administration or related area, or a Bachelors degree in the same with equivalent work experience.
• 3 years supervisory/management experience.
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
